Service to Others: Being Responsive to those in Need

Monday, October 30, 2017 - 14:05

Hello Homebase Students and Families!

December’s Homebase focus at Lake Middle School is “Service to Others” and many of our Homebase class discussions and activities will support that focus!  Building-wide, individual classes and clubs participate in a variety of events and activities that support the act of serving others.  Service to others and being responsive of others in need is something we want to instill in our students during their time at school.   In helping others we truly help ourselves and broaden our view of being a positive and contributing member of our school and of a larger community.   As we travel through the month of December we want to ensure that we continue in our efforts with being kind to others and identifying when we can be helpful in many ways, no matter how small or large.

“No one is useless in this world who lightens the burdens of another.”  By  - Charles Dickens

We hope each of you have a wonderful holiday season.
