Summer Skoolie

Summer Skoolie will be bringing free food and fun to families all summer long! The program kicks off the week of June 7 and will run through August 13.

  • Mondays at Royal Oaks Elementary in Woodbury, 5-6:30pm
  • Tuesdays at Newport Elementary in Newport, 5-6:30pm
  • Wednesdays at Pullman Elementary in St Paul Park, 5-6:30pm
  • Thursdays at Armstrong Elementary in Cottage Grove, 5-6:30pm

New this year is a SoWashCo CARES Fruit Stand! This will be located at our partner site at The Grove Church in Cottage Grove, just next door to Armstrong. We will offer fresh fruits and vegetables at Summer Skoolie events. In addition to the physical fruit stand, we will be adding a "mobile fruit market" to the Skoolie bus to offer fresh produce at our other sites. The Skoolie Bus Little Library also has over 1000 brand new culturally diverse books in it (donated through Barnes and Noble), which kids can take home!

Saturday Supper Club (see attached flyer)

We are working with community partners to offer a free, prepared meal for families every Saturday somewhere in the community. Initially, these meals are being prepared to-go and available for curbside pickup, but the hope is eventually it can also be a real sit-down community meal. More dates and locations will be added!

Time and locations: Every Saturday 5-6:30pm
1st Saturdays..Stone Soup/Basic Needs in St Paul Park
2nd Saturdays..Newport Lutheran Church in Newport
3rd Saturdays..bonus partners TBD
4th Saturdays..The Grove Churches in Woodbury and Cottage Grove
